Parker Poe Attorney Sam Moses Appointed to Lead Local Advisory Board

Sam C. Moses, an attorney in the Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein Columbia office, has been appointed to lead the Local Advisory Board for the South Carolina Chapter of the German-American Chamber of Commerce of the Southern U.S. (GACC).

Mr. Moses represents U.S. and foreign corporations on a variety of business transactions and corporate and commercial matters. Prior to joining Parker Poe, he served for more than three years as managing director of South Carolina’s European Office in Munich, Germany, assisting European investors seeking to establish operations in North America.

Mr. Moses will work alongside the Director of the South Carolina Chapter of GACC, serving as  Co-Director of the Columbia Area. His role will include working with the local advisory board members to increase and grow GACC membership and activities in the Columbia Area.

In addition to Mr. Moses, the following individuals have been appointed to the Local Advisory Board for Columbia:

  • Stephanie Schoeller, Director of Investor Relations, Central South Carolina Alliance
  • Ed Kluiters, Attorney, Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd, PA
  • Ed O'Donnell, Director-International Operations, American Business Development Group, Inc.
  • David King, Director of Marketing, Central South Carolina Alliance


The Advisory Board’s objective is to increase the awareness of the German-American business community in the Columbia area and to create strategic relationships with various business groups in Germany to increase Trans-Atlantic cooperation.

Mr. Moses is also a member of the South Carolina Economic Developers' Association and the Columbia Chapter of the World Affairs Council. He received his JD, Masters of International Business Studies and BA from the University of South Carolina.
