(CHARLOTTE, N.C.)—Craig T. Lynch, a partner in the Charlotte office of Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP, has been appointed to serve on the Florida State University Alumni Association’s National Board of Directors. Additionally, Mr. Lynch will serve as the University’s Board of Trustees’ designee, a distinctive honor reserved exclusively for only one member of the 36-person Board of Directors.
As a board member, Mr. Lynch will work to promote effective communication among the University community, review recommendations, approve strategic courses of action for advancement and approve the annual budget. Mr. Lynch will serve a three-year term on the Board of Directors.
Mr. Lynch serves as a member of the Firm’s Board of Directors and the University of North Carolina School of Law Alumni Association Board of Directors, chairing this Board’s Student Services Committee. He also serves on the Executive Committee and Board of Directors for the National Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Society. In 2010, he was the recipient of the Hope Award, the highest honor bestowed by the MS Society.
Mr. Lynch practices law in Parker Poe’s Real Estate and Commercial Development Department, representing clients in connection with the acquisition, disposition, development and leasing of real property, and leading one of the Department’s three practice groups. He was named to Woodward/White’s The Best Lawyers in America in Real Estate Law for 2011. Mr. Lynch received his Bachelor of Science degree from Florida State University and his Juris Doctorate from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
