(RALEIGH, N.C.)—Kevin L. Chignell, Managing Partner of the Firm’s Raleigh office, has been named Chair of the Trucking Industry Defense Association’s (TIDA) 2013 Annual Seminar Committee. His appointment will be announced at the 2012 annual seminar scheduled for mid-October in Dallas, TX.

The TIDA is a nonprofit association consisting of more than 1,800 industry professionals. The organization and its members work to develop strategies and share knowledge to defend the trucking industry in personal injury, property damage, worker’s compensation and cargo claims.

Mr. Chignell has extensive experience in the defense and representation of trucking and transportation clients and frequently presents on safety issues and accident response investigations. He represents clients in a diverse range of litigation matters, from defending wrongful death and serious personal injury claims to insurance coverage matters and commercial disputes.

In addition to his work with the TIDA, Mr. Chignell is a member of the North Carolina Trucking Association and the Transportation Lawyers Association.
