Charla Hall Joins Parker Poe’s Public Finance Group in Raleigh Office

(RALEIGH, N.C.)—Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP announced today that Charla Hall has joined the firm’s Public Finance Group as an Associate in the Raleigh office.

Ms. Hall’s primary practice is as bond and underwriter’s counsel in connection with tax-exempt general obligation and revenue bonds. Her clients include cities, counties, school districts, financial institutions, development authorities and corporations.

Prior to joining Parker Poe, Ms. Hall served as Senior Assistant City Attorney for the City of Atlanta where she helped manage an outstanding debt portfolio of more than $7 billion and represented the City’s Department of Finance in matters involving ratings and regulatory agencies.

Ms. Hall is a member of the National Association of Bond Lawyers. She was recognized as a Georgia Super Lawyers Rising Star from 2005-2008 and one of Georgia Trend magazine’s “Legal Elite” in 2008. She is the former president of the Georgia Alliance of African American Attorneys and is a member of the 2009 class of the United Way of Greater Atlanta V.I.P program.

Ms. Hall received her JD from the University of Georgia in 2003 and her BA from Yale University in 2000.
