(CHARLESTON, SC)–Richard M. Unger, a Partner at Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP, was elected to the Charleston County Bar Association’s Executive Committee and will serve a two-year term.
Mr. Unger is one of ten Charleston-area lawyers who are members of the committee, which serves as the governing body of the Charleston County Bar. He will work with other members to review, establish and implement rules and policies on behalf of the organization.
Mr. Unger has more than 35 years of experience representing private, public and institutional developers, purchasers, equity investors and lenders. He counsels clients in the development, acquisition, financing, operation, sale and leasing of all forms of commercial, industrial and residential real estate, with a special focus on the resort development industry.
Mr. Unger earned his BA from Wofford College and his JD from the University of South Carolina.
