(COLUMBIA, SC)–Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP recently donated 32 personal computers to three nonprofit organizations in the Columbia area.
The largest donation went to the Center for Learning (CFL), an independent early childhood education facility. Parker Poe donated 15 computers, which will be used in CFL’s computer lab and in various classrooms.
Brookland Academy Child Development Center received ten computers, which will be used by the center’s administrators and teachers. Seven computers went to The Family Shelter – a nonprofit that provides resources to homeless families in the area – replacing computers used by staff members.
The gently used computers, which came from the Firm’s Columbia office, are only a few years old. Since 2008, Parker Poe has donated more than 50 computers, monitors and printers to deserving schools, nonprofits and small businesses in the Carolinas.
