Parker Poe’s Columbia Employees Participate in Habitat Build

(COLUMBIA, SC)—Attorneys and staff members in Parker Poe’s Columbia office participated in a house build on May 22 as part of the Buildable Hours Project, a joint effort of the Richland County Bar Association and Central SC Habitat for Humanity that raises funds to build a house for a Midlands family while providing a worthwhile team building experience for the participants. Parker Poe was also a sponsor of the Buildable Hours Project.

The Project allows the legal community to support Central South Carolina Habitat for Humanity’s mission of providing affordable, safe, and adequate housing for a hard-working local family. In the past few years, more than 50 law firms and businesses from across the country have engaged in the building projects through Buildable Hours.
