(RALEIGH, N.C.) — Kevin Chignell, a Partner in Parker Poe’s Raleigh office, was recently named to the Board of Advisors of Camp Sea Gull and Camp Seafarer.

The camps, which are some of the biggest residential camps in the country, aim to build character in a safe, nurturing environment while fostering self-confidence, independence, consideration of others, respect for the environment, and a spirit of cooperation.

Mr. Chignell’s time and dedication to the board will aid the camp in striving to improve programs, facilities and services at both Camp Sea Gull and Camp Seafarer.

Mr. Chignell has extensive experience in the defense and representation of trucking and transportation clients and frequently presents on safety issues and accident response investigations. He represents clients in a diverse range of litigation matters, from defending wrongful death and serious personal injury claims to insurance coverage matters, commercial disputes and product liability claims. He also currently serves as the Managing Partner of the firm's Raleigh office.
