(RALEIGH, N.C.) – Parker Poe’s Raleigh office has moved from the Wells Fargo Capitol Center into a new, custom-built space in PNC Plaza.
The two-story, 50,000-square-foot office includes more than 100 work spaces for attorneys, paralegals and assistants, as well as a dozen conference rooms, a catering kitchen and six areas for lawyers and staff to work collaboratively.
The new office is a departure from the conventional law firm space, said Raleigh Office Managing Partner Kevin Chignell, and has already been featured in the Triangle Business Journal.
“When we started working with our architects and space planners, we told them to come up with a unique design unlike anything you would see in a traditional law firm,” Chignell said. “We’re very pleased with how it turned out. We have a contemporary, tech-forward space that will serve us well as our firm continues to grow.”
Parker Poe’s new office was designed by Gensler, an integrated architecture, design, planning and consulting firm with a global reach. Their recent projects include Condé Nast's Headquarters at One World Trade and Microsoft's newest location in Times Square.
Parker Poe’s Raleigh office was designed with both clients and employees top of mind, and features a contemporary design with a prominent use of glass to make the most of an open floor plan and amazing views over the city. PNC Plaza, the tallest skyscraper in the city of Raleigh, houses office and retail space, parking and condominiums. It was among those recently honored by the Triangle Urban Land Institute for its contribution to the continued vitality of communities in the Triangle area.
