Parker Poe Donates to Non-Profits
(RALEIGH, NC) – Parker Poe’s Raleigh office recently donated items to multiple organizations in the Triangle area.
The firm, which recently relocated its Raleigh office to PNC Plaza, donated more than $11,000 worth of office furniture to various non-profit organizations including the North Carolina Symphony, the North Carolina Opera, Our Lady of Lourdes, Temple Beth Or, Hope Valley Elementary, the Raleigh Masonic Temple Corporation and more. The donations, which included conference tables, chairs, file cabinets, desks, bookcases and more, came about through the involvement of the firm’s attorneys with the community groups.
“We believed it was very important for us to transition our furniture to new owners that could make good use of it, instead of simply liquidating it,” said Kevin Chignell, managing partner of the Raleigh office. “We are pleased that so many non-profits were interested in putting the furniture to use in their endeavors.”
Parker Poe moved into its new Raleigh office space at the end of November.
