Dick Unger to Speak at the Home Builders Association of South Carolina State Convention
Charleston, SC – Dick Unger, Partner in Parker Poe’s Charleston office, will be speaking at the Home Builders Association of South Carolina at the HBASC State Convention held in Asheville, NC on October 23, 2015.
Mr. Unger, a Member of the SC General Assembly Study Committee on Homeowners Association, will be speaking about the Study Committee on Homeowners Associations and pending legislation affecting homeowners associations. The purpose of this committee is to review laws, policies, practices, and procedures regarding homeowners associations in this State and other jurisdictions, and to make recommendations to the General Assembly regarding proposals for South Carolina's statutory law. The study committee reviews information including, but not limited to, case law, statutes, uniform laws, and other information from South Carolina and other jurisdictions concerning homeowners associations.
Mr. Unger has more than 40 years of experience representing private, public and institutional developers, purchasers, equity investors and lenders. Mr. Unger counsels clients in the development, acquisition, financing, operation, sale and leasing of all forms of commercial, industrial and residential real estate. In addition, he is a frequent speaker and author on real estate development topics.
