Charlotte, NC – Parker Poe is pleased to announce the addition of James F. (Jim) King as Chief Operating Officer (COO). Jim joins Parker Poe with more than 30 years’ experience as a professional operational, financial and strategic executive.

Mr. King brings strong leadership and organizational capabilities to the firm, and has a proven track record of working effectively at all levels to lead complex projects from concept to fully operational status.  Prior to joining Parker Poe, Jim was Chief Operating Officer of Fowler White Boggs P.A., a statewide Florida firm, and helped lead multiple strategic initiatives, including its merger with the national firm of Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney PC where he served as Director of Administration.

Mr. King is a member of the Association of Legal Administrators, has served on the Board of Directors and as Chairman of the Finance Section of the local chapter, and actively participated in the Large Firm Administrators Caucus at the national level.
