Parker Poe Sponsors Global Carolina Connections Conference on International Investment

Fourth annual conference to be held in Raleigh on August 18 at NC State's Centennial Campus

Charlotte, NC—Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP, a full-service business law firm known for its deep connections to international clients from around the world, announces it is a Presenting Sponsor of the 2016 Global Carolina Connections Conference as part of its commitment to helping global companies grow successfully in North America from their base in the Carolinas. 

The Global Carolina Connections Conference, which will be held Thursday, August 18, from 9:00 am - 4:30 pm at the State Club on the Centennial Campus of NC State University, will bring together representatives of businesses from across the world to discuss the challenges and successes of the current business landscape, with a focus on attracting and growing global industries to the Carolinas.

More than 180 representatives from international manufacturers, service providers and other key stakeholders throughout the Carolinas attended last year’s conference in Greenville, South Carolina. Executives from companies and organizations based in the United States, Canada, Germany, Japan, France, Spain, China, and Italy are expected to participate this year. Along with Parker Poe, the event is co-hosted by Rödl & Partner and Global Carolina Communications.  Research on Investment (ROI), based  in Montreal, Canada, is the Diamond Sponsor for this year’s event.

Skvarla, III. During the conference, expert speakers from internationally-owned businesses will discuss such issues as immigration and tax issues, innovation partnerships with institutions of higher education, export strategies and resources, site selection and more.
