Charlotte, NC – Stacy Wood, Partner and Board of Directors member in Parker Poe’s Charlotte office, was recently featured in the ongoing series “My Carolina Experience: Stacy Wood” by GoHeels.com. Ms. Wood, a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and member of the gymnastics team, was the first Carolina gymnast in history to qualify for the NCAA regionals and nationals. These days, she runs long distance races, having completed more than 40 marathons across the United States. Ms. Wood tells her story of participating in high level, competitive gymnastics and how it played a defining role in her academic years, her professional career, and her well-rounded personal life.
