Jason Benton focuses his practice on complex civil disputes and is experienced in both trial and appellate courts. As a trial lawyer, he represents large clients in the energy sector and provides legal services to a broad range of other industries. He was recently inducted into the Litigation Counsel of America as a Fellow, an invitation extended to less than half a percent of American lawyers to join the honorary society recognizing excellence among trial counsel. He has also been recognized for his dedication by Benchmark Litigation and N.C. Super Lawyers.
Jason learned the importance of community service at a young age, taking part in the Charlotte CROP Hunger Walk as a kid. The walk winds through uptown and simulates the average distance people in third world countries go to access clean water. Today, Jason brings his own kids to the walk and helps raise money to relieve hunger. He is also involved with Room in the Inn, which provides shelter and food for homeless people on winter nights.
