Parker Poe Chief Marketing & Business Development Officer Kristen Leis was quoted in the May 5, 2017, edition of the Triangle Business Journal in a story that looks at how area law firms are improving their internal processes to deliver efficiencies and predictability to clients. Through programs like Legal Lean Sigma (adapted from the similarly named philosophy found in the manufacturing space), law firms are improving their efforts when it comes to providing value.

“We started really thinking about Lean Six Sigma last year when we heard from clients that they want and value law firms and lawyers that think not only as lawyers but also as business people,” Leis told the publication. The article also describes Parker Poe’s successful 2016 Mini-MBA program for its lawyers. You can read the entire article here.
