Emily Luther, special counsel in Parker Poe’s Columbia office, represents public and private parties in capital financing transactions and economic development matters. Emily also advises nonprofit and tax-exempt organizations on compliance with federal and state tax and corporate laws.

Emily is a graduate of Leadership South Carolina, the state’s oldest state leadership development organization, and an alum of Leadership Columbia, each of which focuses on service and civic engagement for the betterment of the state and city. Excited about education and music, Emily is a member of the board of directors of the South Carolina Philharmonic and serves on the Midlands Committee of the Jefferson Awards Foundation. As a longtime member of the Junior League of Columbia, she is also committed to promoting volunteerism and developing the potential of women.
