Raleigh partner Melanie Dubis was on a panel at UNC School of Law discussing the 20th anniversary of the Leandro case. The case established the state constitutional right to a sound basic education for all public school students in North Carolina. Melanie is lead counsel for the plaintiff school districts, and the case had a major development recently. She was joined on the panel by retired N.C. Supreme Court Justice Bob Orr and former state senator Howard Lee.
