Raleigh partners Bill Pappas and Catharine Arrowood contributed to a book published in Chinese whose title translates to The Rules of the Game of Global M&A: Why So Many Chinese Outbound Investments Fail. The book is part of a series granted a national award by the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television of China.

More than 80 case studies form the heart of the book, of which more than 25 are confidential "war stories." It was published by the leading publisher of business management books in China, China Machine Press.

Bill and Catharine have deep experience representing international clients in a variety of industries. Bill has helped domestic and foreign businesses with private investments in the U.S. and abroad, including corporate relocation and expansion projects, as well as corporate finance and lending transactions. Catharine is on the board of directors for TerraLex, one of the world's leading international legal networks, and she co-chairs TerraLex's International Dispute Resolution practice group.
