Charlotte, N.C. – Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP is pleased to announce the addition of Tim St. Clair as a partner in the firm’s Greenville office. Tim is a registered patent attorney who assists clients through all facets of intellectual property. In addition, he is a seasoned litigator, having served as lead counsel in dozens of jury trials.
Tim regularly prepares and prosecutes patent applications in a range of technical fields. He also frequently counsels clients on IP risk avoidance, including freedom-to-operate opinions and infringement evaluations. His clients include Fortune 500 companies, midsize businesses, and startups.
Prior to joining Parker Poe, Tim chaired the intellectual property practice group for a large law firm in the Southeast. He received his law degree from the University of Virginia and his bachelor's degree from Virginia Tech. Outside of work, he has held leadership roles in JDRF (the leading global organization funding Type 1 diabetes research) and the Greenville Spinners Bicycle Club.
