Will Cannon helps Fortune 500 companies, midsize manufacturers, public and private colleges, and other clients negotiate technology contracts and safeguard their intellectual property. He leads Parker Poe’s Education industry team and manages the trademark portfolios of universities across North Carolina. Will co-chairs the N.C. Bar Association’s Committee on Trademarks, Copyrights, and Trade Secrets. Will also uses his understanding of intellectual property to serve nonprofits in the Triangle community. He provides pro bono services to the Inter-Faith Food Shuttle, Carroll’s Kitchen, and the Pretty In Pink Foundation, to name a few. As a result, the N.C. Bar Association’s Intellectual Property Section honored Will with its Outstanding Achievement Pro Bono Award for 2017.
