Melanie Dubis moderated a panel of federal and state judges at Parker Poe's Carolinas Business Litigation Year in Review. Melanie led a conversation on the trends the judges have observed in their courtrooms, as well as the timing of civil cases and other emerging legal issues.

The panel included two federal judges: District Court Judge Robert Conrad of the Western District of North Carolina and Magistrate Judge Shiva Hodges of the District of South Carolina. N.C. Appeals Court Judge Richard Dietz and N.C. Business Court Judge Louis Bledsoe III were also on the panel.

The Carolinas Business Litigation Year in Review in Charlotte also included Parker Poe attorneys providing a comprehensive review of significant business cases from 2017 and a breakdown of ethical considerations for data security.
