Chief Marketing & Business Development Officer Kristen Bateman Leis was quoted in North Carolina Lawyers Weekly about how Parker Poe is partnering with clients to increase efficiency. 

“I did client feedback interviews for the law firm, and I kept hearing about increasing efficiency over and over again,” Kristen said in the article. “I kept hearing from our clients that they most value lawyers who think like business people.”

Parker Poe has embedded that feedback into its annual initiative called "The Path," which has included a mini-MBA program for attorneys and a two-day course on project management for both attorneys and clients. The firm was the first in the Carolinas to host that kind of course, applying the concepts of "lean" and "six sigma" to increase efficiency. Kristen talked in the article about how those concepts are beginning to catch on in the legal industry.
