Raleigh, N.C. – Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP is pleased to announce that Robb Leandro was elected president of the North Carolina Society of Health Care Attorneys (NCSHCA) during the organization’s annual meeting on Friday, September 21. Robb has previously served on the NCSHCA’s board of directors and several of its committees.

NCSHCA is the leading nonprofit in North Carolina serving the interests of in-house and private practice attorneys who focus on health care. It provides continuing education and other services to help its members follow legal trends and regulatory developments. It is a state affiliate of the American Health Lawyers Association.

At Parker Poe, Robb’s legal practice focuses on helping health care providers navigate the complex regulatory environment that they face in their practices. Robb routinely assists clients with issues that include Medicaid and Medicare regulations; Medicaid and Medicare audits; Certificate of Need Applications and litigation; licensure, surveys, and certification issues; and HIPAA and privacy laws. Robb also provides counsel to health care providers with complex government contract procurement issues. 

Robb’s term as NCSHCA president will last until September of 2019.
