Melanie Dubis moderated a panel of federal and state judges at Parker Poe's Carolinas Business Litigation Year in Review. Melanie led a conversation on the trends the judges have observed in their courtrooms, common timelines for the resolution of cases and motions, and ethical and efficiency considerations for attorneys.
The panel consisted of North Carolina Business Court Judge Adam Conrad, U.S. Magistrate Judge for the Western District of North Carolina David Keesler, and South Carolina Court of Appeals Judge Bruce Williams.
The Carolinas Business Litigation Year in Review in Charlotte also included Parker Poe attorneys providing a comprehensive review of significant business cases from 2018, as well as a breakdown of evolving issues at the intersection of data and business litigation.
