Raleigh, N.C. – Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP is pleased to announce that the Knightdale Town Council has appointed Raleigh partner Russell Killen as an interim councilor. Russell fills a vacancy and his term will last through December 2019.
Russell served as Knightdale’s mayor from 2007 to 2015 and was president of the Wake County Mayors Association in 2011 and 2015. He also served on the Knightdale Town Council from 2003 to 2007.
At Parker Poe, Russell focuses his legal practice in the area of construction and land development, including dispute resolution, contract negotiation, and project entitlement. He also serves on the firm’s board of directors.
