Doug Harmon and Jane Lewis-Raymond presented at the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics' Utilities & Energy Conference in Houston, Texas. The conference brings together compliance professionals from utilities around the country. 

Doug and Jane provided a summary of current legal requirements and best practices for board engagement with compliance programs, as well as examples of common impediments that get in the way. At Parker Poe, Doug and Jane co-lead the firm's Governance, Risk & Compliance Team, and Jane is the former general counsel of a publicly traded energy company.
