Raleigh, N.C. – Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP is pleased to announce that Raleigh partner Will Cannon has been elected to the board of directors for Inter-Faith Food Shuttle. The nonprofit is focused on ending hunger in the Triangle and empowering people to meet their own food needs through culinary job training and beginner gardening.
Will has provided pro bono services to Inter-Faith Food Shuttle for four years. He also provides pro bono services to Carroll’s Kitchen, A Place at the Table, Pretty in Pink Foundation, Kanuga, Water for Wildlife, and other organizations. In 2017, the N.C. Bar Association’s Intellectual Property Section honored Will with its Outstanding Achievement Pro Bono Award.
At Parker Poe, Will helps clients negotiate technology contracts and safeguard their intellectual property rights. He co-leads Parker Poe’s Education Industry Team and manages the trademark portfolios of universities across North Carolina.
