Raleigh, N.C. – Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP is pleased to announce that Charles Raynal has been elected to the board of governors for the North Carolina Bar Association. As a board member of the NCBA, Charles will play a leading role in the practice of law in North Carolina.
The North Carolina Bar Association was founded in 1899 and today serves more than 20,000 lawyers, judges, paralegals, and law students across the state. In addition to Charles’ election to its board of governors, he has been appointed to the NCBA Executive Committee. He also will serve on the board of directors and Executive Committee of the N.C. Bar Foundation, which supports the NCBA and helps drive access to justice and community service.
In addition, Charles serves on the board of directors at Parker Poe and the Wake Forest University School of Law board of visitors. His legal practice focuses on business litigation. He has extensive experience representing public and private companies in corporate governance and shareholder lawsuits, defending clients in class action lawsuits in state and federal courts around the country, and litigating significant real estate cases.
The Triangle Business Journal recognized Charles in 2013 as one of the 40 top business leaders under the age of 40 in the region.
Charles will serve three years on the NCBA’s board of governors.
