Raleigh, N.C. – Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP is pleased to announce that Tiffany Burba has been appointed to serve as a board member for the Friends of the City of Raleigh Museum. In that role, Tiffany will provide leadership as the museum seeks to preserve Raleigh’s past and celebrate its unique history.
The City of Raleigh Museum debuted its first exhibit in 1993. Today, it collects artifacts, curates exhibits, and produces educational programs highlighting Raleigh’s history. The City of Raleigh operates the museum with the support of the Friends of the City of Raleigh Museum, a nonprofit. Tiffany will serve a two-year term on the nonprofit’s board of directors.
Tiffany is also part of this year’s Leadership Raleigh class. Leadership Raleigh is a nine-month program run by the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce through which selected participants get an in-depth view of community issues and further build their leadership skills.
At Parker Poe, Tiffany helps clients negotiate technology contracts and protect their intellectual property rights. She also counsels national companies on compliance with international, federal, and state privacy regulations. In addition, she maintains an active pro bono practice that recently included assisting coastal residents with FEMA and disaster relief claims.
