The Gaston Gazette wrote an article about Brad Overcash's election as chair of the Gaston College board of trustees. 

The article noted Brad has served on the board since 2016 and will now lead that 15-member governing body, which oversees the community college’s three campuses in Dallas, Belmont, and Lincolnton.
