Tyler explained different deal structures that investors, property owners, real estate developers, and other businesses can use to maximize the new federal Opportunity Zone program. The program is designed to increase investment in economically distressed areas throughout the United States. 

The South Carolina Opportunity Zone Summit also featured U.S. Senator Tim Scott as its keynote speaker and brought together business, legal, and community leaders from across the state.
