BTI’s Client Service A-Team is the gold standard used by law firms and corporate counsel to measure client service. The report relies entirely on interviews with general counsel, chief legal officers, and other legal decision-makers at large and Fortune 1,000 companies. For the 2020 edition, BTI conducted more than 350 in-depth telephone interviews with leaders across more than 15 industries between January and October of 2019.
In particular, clients said Parker Poe stands out for how it invests in client relationships and handles client-facing communications, according to BTI’s report. Both of those areas have been recent focuses of the firm’s annual program called The Path, which is designed to help the firm deliver superior client service. The firm has invested in teaming up with clients to learn process improvement and project management skills geared specifically for the legal profession, and Parker Poe attorneys and leaders regularly conduct in-person client interviews to deepen their understanding of each client’s business and gather feedback.
