Like all of you, we at Parker Poe are monitoring the accelerating developments surrounding the coronavirus and evaluating how we can best serve and protect our employees, communities and clients. One thing remains constant even as the landscape changes – our driving concern is the health and safety of our clients, friends and each other. With that in mind, I wanted to send you this update on our efforts to protect each other’s well-being while meeting your legal and business needs.
We take seriously our responsibility to fight this virus through social distancing – this is absolutely essential. So starting today we are transitioning our operations to remote work. Fortunately we have long planned for and invested in Parker Poe’s ability to work remotely on a large scale, and our firm is fully functioning with our physical offices open to provide critical services. We are also implementing a robust business continuity plan. The result is that we will continue to serve your needs seamlessly, with no drop in the excellent service that you expect from Parker Poe.
Please reach out to any of our attorneys, or to me, if you have any questions about our remote work plan or services. Just as importantly, please also let us know if there is anything we can do to assist you as you navigate your own challenges. In the meantime, these times demonstrate how connected we all truly are, and how dependent we are on each other for support and success. Please know that we are and will remain committed to each of you, and we look forward to seeing this situation through together.
Take care, and best wishes for your safety and good health.
