Bruce Thompson's analysis of outstanding election ballots in North Carolina was included in the Carolina Journal and several local publications.
The articles focused on 116,200 absentee ballots that had been requested but not accounted for yet. Bruce said up to 70% of them could be returned and counted before a Nov. 12 deadline. Some are unlikely to be returned because people may have chosen to vote in person instead.
