Andy Walsh has pledged $10,000 to NC State University to establish a scholarship for undergraduate students serving in leadership roles on campus. 

“I’m really hopeful that in a few years we’re going to hear about additional scholarships going to students to relieve financial burdens,” Andy said in an article on NC State's website. “We need to show [current students] that we value their impact on campus and that we value the leadership skills that they’re developing, so much so that we want to reward them for their contributions.”

Andy is a former student body president at NC State. He is now an associate in Parker Poe's Charlotte office who focuses on public finance law.
