Josh Marks was quoted in The Washington Post, Atlanta NPR station WABE, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the Savannah Morning News, and other media coverage of a mining proposal for the Okefenokee Swamp.
"A joint review will reveal what most of us already know: the Okefenokee is simply too important a natural treasure to risk, and the permit applications should be denied," Josh told the Savannah Morning News, for example. "This is what Dupont determined over 20 years ago when it abandoned an identical project before even filing any permit applications. Twin Pines should follow Dupont’s example, rescind its applications, and help ensure the Okefenokee is protected from mining once and for all."
