Charlotte, N.C. – Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP is pleased to announce that Scott Manning has been elected to the board of directors for Children’s Theatre of Charlotte. The theatre is nationally recognized for its plays, educational programs, and other offerings for children and families.
Children’s Theatre of Charlotte was established in 1948 and recently provided more than 250,000 experiences a year for children and families, including creative, innovative plays and a broad variety of educational programs. Scott joins at a critical time in its history, as the organization continues adapting as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.
At Parker Poe, Scott focuses his legal practice on international business and tax law. He advises a range of domestic and foreign companies on corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, entity selection, and internal reorganizations. He is part of the leadership team, called the council, of the North Carolina Bar Association’s Tax Section.
