"Though I had a long associate track at my prior firm, I thought I would have to put in several years as counsel with Parker Poe before being considered," Elizabeth said. "The recognition by my colleagues to invite me into the partnership within two years of being with the firm was a huge honor. 2020 was a year of isolation for everyone. But having the surprise of making partner, was certainly a great way to start fresh in 2021. To have the ability to share good news with my family and friends via Zoom and back porch gatherings was really special."
