Raleigh, N.C. – Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP is pleased to announce that Sloan Carpenter has been elected to the board of the Friends of the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences. As a board member, Sloan will help support the museum through activities that serve the broader goal of helping the museum illuminate the natural world and inspire its conservation.
The Friends of the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences was established in 1979 and is a private, nonprofit group whose sole purpose is to benefit the museum's educational programs, exhibits, and research through membership, fundraising, and advocacy.
At Parker Poe, Sloan focuses her practice on intellectual property rights and disputes. She counsels clients on U.S. and international trademark search and clearance, prosecution, licensing, and enforcement.
