Jonathan Crotty was quoted in an article on the Society for Human Resource Management's website about how employers are facing federal and state conflicts with workplace vaccine mandates. While the federal government is finalizing a vaccine-or-test standard that will apply to many private employers, some states are looking to prevent businesses from requiring vaccines for COVID-19.
"These controversies are likely only the tip of the iceberg in terms of a series of state measures and resulting lawsuits," Jonathan said. "When combined with the federal OSHA ETS, this will likely result in a messy and shifting patchwork of vaccine mandates and prohibitions that employers will need to navigate through."
