ATLANTA, GA – Elizabeth Story and Charles Pursley will present at an Eminent Domain CLE on Friday, April 22, 2022. The six-hour CLE includes an ethics hour and professionalism hour, followed by the presentation of the Charles N. Pursley, Jr. Award. Named for the “Dean” of the Georgia Eminent Domain Bar, the award is awarded to that member-attorney of our section, which has distinguished themself from all others in the practice of Eminent Domain law.

Georgia Eminent Domain Legal Update

Elizabeth, the first presenter, will provide the eminent domain legal update for the state of Georgia. In her practice, Elizabeth primarily helps and guides property and business owners through the phases of the eminent domain proceedings, including jury trials, mediations, acquisitions, closings, and special master hearings.

Reflections on 50 Years of Eminent Domain Practice, With Practical Pointers

Charles will reflect on his experience practicing eminent domain and share tips with fellow attorneys. Charles has litigated condemnation, eminent domain, business valuation, and other real-estate cases for more than four decades. His practice features a national client base that includes commercial, mixed-use, shopping center developers, other businesses, property owners, and governmental entities.
