Charlotte, N.C. – Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP is pleased to announce that Business North Carolina magazine has named Tom Griffin to its 2022 Power List, which recognizes the state’s most influential business leaders. Since 2012, Tom has served as managing partner of Parker Poe, a regional law firm with deep roots and history in North Carolina, where it was founded.
“Being honored by Business North Carolina reflects the efforts of everyone at Parker Poe,” Tom says. “Creating a strong firm and contributing to a strong community have always been our priorities. I’m grateful to work with an incredibly talented group who are focused on making a difference in our state and around the region.”
As managing partner, Tom has steered the firm through many initiatives dedicated to strategic growth and community involvement. Earlier this year, Parker Poe expanded in Atlanta, adding a group of 16 attorneys along with several others. Tom also helped lead the work of nearly two dozen law firms to create the Carolinas Social Impact Initiative, an effort to foster a more inclusive community and reduce systemic barriers to social and economic mobility in North Carolina.
The Business North Carolina magazine compiled the list after seeking nominations and conducting interviews and research.
