CHARLOTTE, N.C. – At its May meeting, the Board of the Florida State University Foundation selected Craig Lynch, a partner in Parker Poe’s Charlotte office, to serve as its chair-elect. His two-year term will begin June 1, 2022. During that period, Craig will also serve on the Executive Committee and chair the Board’s Trusteeship and Engagement Committee.

A five-term member of the Firm’s board of directors, Mr. Lynch has more than 35 years of legal experience. Half a dozen principal types of clients entrust their commercial real estate legal needs to him: automobile dealerships, franchisees and franchisors of national brands, health care providers, organizations expanding their presence across the country, universities, and foreign entities pursuing inbound U.S. real estate opportunities.

Mr. Lynch previously served as president of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Law Alumni Association’s Board of Directors, chair of the Florida State University Alumni Association’s National Board of Directors, and a vice chair of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society’s Board of Directors.

He is ranked by Chambers USA, has been recognized by North Carolina Super Lawyers, and has been named among The Best Lawyers in America and America’s Leading Lawyers in his real estate practice.

Mr. Lynch received his Juris Doctor in 1986 from the University of North Carolina and his Bachelor of Science degree in 1981 from Florida State University.
