Chip Holmes was named "Lawyer of the Year" for insurance law. It is the ninth straight year that Chip has been voted the top attorney in a practice area related to litigation or insurance. He has more than 25 years of experience defending businesses and professionals in courts, arbitrations, and mediation.
Steve Weber was voted by his peers as the “Lawyer of the Year” for environmental litigation. Steve has been an environmental lawyer at Parker Poe for nearly 30 years. His practice is three-fold: litigation, compliance, and transactional. In the environmental litigation arena, Steve defends clients in state, federal, administrative, and local zoning matters, as well as multi-district litigation and class actions. Steve also served a four-year term on the North Carolina Environmental Management Commission.

Will Thomas was voted by his peers as the “Lawyer of the Year” in health care litigation. He represents a variety of health care clients in litigation, regulatory issues, and transactions. He is also the former leader of Parker Poe's Health Care Industry Team.
Greenville, South Carolina
Tim St. Clair was named “Lawyer of the Year” for patent law. This is the third time in four years that his peers have named him the top attorney in a practice area related to intellectual property. Tim leads Parker Poe's Intellectual Property Group and is a registered patent attorney who focuses exclusively on the protection, commercialization, and litigation of intellectual property.
