The Charlotte Business Journal highlighted Parker Poe's efforts to increase diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in leadership positions.
"After detailed conversations with our clients and peers in the legal profession, we are pursuing Mansfield Rule certification from Diversity Lab, which aims to increase and sustain diversity in law firm leadership," said Parker Poe's Chief Talent, Diversity & Inclusion Officer Shalanna Pirtle. "That effort started last year and continues this year. We also intend to deepen our focus on data tracking and analysis regarding our recruitment and retention efforts, and we plan to double down on our DEI training series."
