On April 18, Parker Poe's Education Team hosted a legal retreat for special education administrators from the Metro East Georgia Learning Resources System (GLRS). Samantha Lewis and Ashley Akin provided guidance on the discipline of disabled students.

Metro East GLRS is part of a network that provides professional learning and other resources to educators and families of students with disabilities. It serves an area that includes DeKalb, Fulton, Gwinnett, and Rockdale counties.
