On April 18, Parker Poe's Education Team hosted a legal retreat for special education administrators from the Metro East Georgia Learning Resources System (GLRS). Reagan Sauls and MaryGrace Bell Kittrell provided guidance on responding to school-based anxiety.

Sherry Culves moderated the retreat. In addition, Beth Morris, Kathryn Ams, Samantha Lewis, and Ashley Akin presented to the special education administrators.
Metro East GLRS is part of a network that provides professional learning and other resources to educators and families of students with disabilities. It serves an area that includes DeKalb, Fulton, Gwinnett, and Rockdale counties.
