Jason Herndon Elected Chair of Marbles Kids Museum's Board of Directors

Raleigh, NC – Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP is pleased to announce that Jason Herndon has been elected chair of the board of directors for Marbles Kids Museum in downtown Raleigh.

Marbles opened its doors in 2007 and today serves a diverse population of families, school groups, and community organizations. Its mission is to spark imagination, discovery, and learning through play. Jason has served on its board since 2016, and he has been a member of the Marbles Facilities Committee throughout his tenure on the board, including serving as the committee chair in 2019-2020.

Jason is deeply committed to community service. He has also chaired the board of directors for the Lupus Foundation of America’s North Carolina chapter (LFANC). He has served as vice chair of the Wake County Library Commission, and he has served on the board of directors for Yates Mill Associates.

In addition, Jason has held numerous leadership roles within the North Carolina Bar Association’s Construction Law Section, including serving as its chair from 2018 to 2019. At Parker Poe, Jason has a broad construction law practice in which he advises clients on construction contract and licensing issues while also regularly handling high-value construction litigation.

Jason is the latest Parker Poe attorney to serve in a leadership role at Marbles Kids Museum. Patti Bartis chaired its board from 2013 to 2014, and Bill Pappas served on the board from 2002 to 2010.
