Law360 wrote an article about Debbie Edney rejoining Parker Poe after living abroad and working for the U.S. Department of State. The article noted Debbie's extensive experience with business litigation. 

Debbie told Law360 that her time abroad has helped inform her legal practice.

"I understand much better many of the diasporas that are in DC, and DC has a lot," she said. "My hope is also to look at bringing clients in and talking to new people from other diasporas and other cultures who we might not normally focus on because of the experiences I've had and the information and the background that I have now."
